How to Vote

To vote in Pierce County, Washington, residents must first register to vote either online through the Washington Secretary of State's VoteWA portal, by mail, or in person at a county elections office. Ballots are mailed to all active registered voters starting October 14, 2026, and can be returned by mail, placed in official drop boxes, or voted in person at accessible voting centers during the early voting period or on Election Day. Voters do not need to show ID to vote in Washington unless registering for the first time by mail without providing verification.
