How to Vote

Washington conducts all elections by mail, with active registered voters automatically receiving ballots 18 days before Election Day. Voters may return ballots via secure drop boxes, mail (postmarked by Election Day), or in-person at vote centers during the voting period. Registration can be completed online, by mail, or in person through the Washington Secretary of State’s office, with same-day registration available at vote centers during early voting and on Election Day.
