How to Vote

Washington state conducts all elections by mail. Voters must be registered to receive a ballot; registration can be completed online, by mail, or in person. Ballots are mailed to registered voters approximately 18 days before election day and must be returned by mail (postmarked by election day) or deposited in an official ballot drop box by 8:00 PM on election day. No voter ID is required to vote by mail in Washington.
