How to Vote

Washington conducts all elections by mail. Registered voters automatically receive a ballot at their registered address approximately 18 days before Election Day. To vote, complete the ballot, sign the return envelope, and either mail it (postmarked by Election Day) or drop it at an official ballot drop box by 8:00 PM on November 3, 2026. Voters can register online, by mail, or in person through the Washington Secretary of State's office, with registration deadlines of October 28, 2026 for online and mail submissions, and in-person registration available until 8:00 PM on Election Day.
