Voters in Richmond must be registered by October 15, 2028, to participate in the November 7 election. On Election Day, voters must present an acceptable form of ID, such as a Virginia driver's license, passport, or military ID, and may vote at their assigned polling place between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Early voting is available from October 19 to November 5 at designated locations, including the Richmond Registrar's Office and satellite sites.
