How to Vote

Virginia voters must register by October 16, 2027, to participate in the November 2 election. Voters can cast ballots in person on Election Day, during the early voting period from October 21 to October 29, 2027, or by requesting an absentee ballot. Acceptable photo ID is required for in-person voting, and voters without ID may sign a statement of identity or cast a provisional ballot.
