How to Vote

Virginia voters can register online, by mail, or in person at their local voter registration office. To vote, registered voters must present an acceptable form of photo ID at the polls, such as a Virginia driver's license, U.S. passport, or student ID; voters without ID may sign an affidavit and vote a provisional ballot. Early voting begins 21 days before Election Day and ends the Saturday before the election.
