The Virginia Lieutenant Governor Primary election on June 8, 2027, will determine the Democratic and Republican nominees for the office of Lieutenant Governor of Virginia. The winner of each party's primary will advance to the general election to compete for the state's second-highest executive office, which includes serving as president of the Senate and succeeding the governor if vacated.

How to Vote

Virginia voters can register online through the Virginia Department of Elections website, by mail, or in person at their local voter registration office. Registered voters may vote in person on Election Day at their assigned polling place, or during the early voting period at designated locations. No photo ID is required to vote, but voters must show an acceptable form of identification such as a voter registration card, driver's license, or utility bill.
