How to Vote

To vote in Virginia, residents must register by the deadline or register in person during early voting or on Election Day. Voters can cast ballots in person on Election Day, during the early voting period, or by requesting an absentee ballot by mail, which must be returned by close of polls on Election Day. A valid photo ID is required to vote in person.
