How to Vote

Virginia voters can register online, by mail, or in person at their local registrar’s office. Registration must be completed by October 15, 2027, to vote in the November 2 election. On Election Day, voters must present an acceptable form of ID, such as a Virginia driver’s license, passport, or military ID, or sign an ID confirmation statement if they lack ID. Early voting begins October 23 and runs through November 1 at designated local registrar offices and satellite locations.
