How to Vote

To vote in Virginia, residents must register by October 13, 2026, either online, by mail, or in person. Voters can cast ballots in person on Election Day at their assigned polling place, during the early voting period from October 23 to November 1, 2026, or by requesting an absentee ballot, which does not require an excuse. Valid photo ID is required to vote in person.
