How to Vote

To vote in Texas, residents must register by October 7, 2026, either online through the Texas Secretary of State’s website, by mail, or in person at a county voter registrar’s office. On Election Day or during early voting (October 25–November 1, 2026), voters must present one of seven approved forms of photo ID, such as a Texas driver license, election identification certificate, or U.S. passport; those without ID may vote provisionally and submit ID within six days.
