About This Race

The Texas U.S. House Districts Primary election on March 3, 2026, determines the Democratic and Republican nominees for Texas's 38 congressional seats in the U.S. House of Representatives. Voters will select candidates who will advance to the November 2026 general election to serve two-year terms starting in January 2027.

How to Vote

Texas voters must register by February 3, 2026, either online at VoteTexas.gov, by mail, or in person at their county voter registrar's office. On election day or during early voting (February 18–March 1, 2026), voters can cast ballots at designated polling places or early voting sites, presenting one of seven approved forms of photo ID, such as a Texas driver license, election identification certificate, or U.S. passport.
