How to Vote

To vote in Knoxville, Tennessee, residents must be U.S. citizens, Tennessee residents, and at least 18 years old by Election Day. Registration can be completed online via the Tennessee Secretary of State’s website, by mail, or in person at the Knox County Election Commission office. Voters must present a valid federal or Tennessee state ID with photo at the polls, such as a driver’s license or passport, and can vote early in person or request an absentee ballot by mail if eligible.
