To vote in the Memphis City Council election, Tennessee residents must be registered by September 6, 2027, either online via the Tennessee Secretary of State’s website, by mail, or in person at their county election commission office. On Election Day or during early voting (September 20–October 2, 2027), voters must present a valid state or federal photo ID, such as a Tennessee driver’s license or passport, at their designated polling place or early voting site.
