How to Vote
To vote in South Dakota, residents must register by October 18, 2026, either online through the Secretary of State's website, by mail, or in person at their county auditor's office. On Election Day, voters can cast ballots at their designated polling place from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM CT, or vote early in person from September 18 to November 1, 2026.
