To vote in South Carolina's 2026 primary, voters must be registered by May 10, 2026. Registration can be completed online via the South Carolina State Election Commission website, by mail, or in person at county voter registration offices. Early in-person voting begins May 19 and runs through June 8, 2026. On Election Day, polls are open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM ET. Voters must present a valid photo ID, such as a South Carolina driver's license, passport, or military ID, to cast a ballot.
