The 2027 North Dakota General Election will be held on November 2, 2027, to elect state and local officials, including the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney State Auditor, State Treasurer, Public Service Commissioners, and members of the North Dakota Legislative Assembly. This election determines leadership for key executive and legislative offices in the state.

To vote in North Dakota, residents must register by October 17, 2027, either online via the Secretary of State’s website, by mail, or in person at their county auditor’s office. Early voting begins October 11, 2027, and runs through November 1, 2027, at designated county polling places. On Election Day, polls are open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM CT, and voters must present a valid form of identification, such as a North Dakota driver’s license, state ID, tribal ID, or long-term care certificate.
