To vote in North Carolina, residents must register by October 13, 2028, either online through the NC State Board of Elections portal, by mail, or in person at a county board of elections office. On Election Day, voters can cast their ballot at their assigned polling place from 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM ET, or during the early voting period from October 24 to November 5, 2028, at designated early voting sites; a valid photo ID is required for in-person voting.
