How to Vote

Voters in Wake County must register by October 13, 2028, either online through the North Carolina State Board of Veterans Affairs website, by mail, or in person at a county board of elections office. On Election Day, registered voters can cast ballots at their assigned polling place between 6:30 AM and 7:30 PM EST; early voting is available from October 24 to November 5, 2028, at designated sites. All voters must show a valid photo ID, such as a North Carolina driver's license, state ID, passport, or military ID, or complete a reasonable impediment declaration if unable to obtain one.
