To vote in the Asheville City Schools Board Election, residents must register by October 14, 2026, either online through the North Carolina State Board of Elections website, by mail, or in person at their county board of elections office. On Election Day, November 3, 2026, voters can cast ballots at their assigned polling place from 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM ET, or during the early voting period from October 21 to November 5, 2026; acceptable photo ID is required for in-person voting.
