How to Vote

To vote in Wake County, North Carolina, residents must register by October 9, 2026, either online through the NC State Board of Elections portal, by mail, or in person at the Wake County Board of Elections office. On Election Day, voters can cast ballots at their assigned polling place from 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM ET; acceptable photo ID includes a North Carolina driver's license, state ID, or U.S. passport.
