To vote in Charlotte, North Carolina, residents must register by October 13, 2027, either online through the NC State Board of Elections portal, by mail, or in person at the Mecklenburg County Board of Elections office. On Election Day, voters can cast ballots at their assigned polling place from 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM EST, or participate in early voting from October 20 to November 1, 2027, at designated sites across Mecklenburg County. Voters must show a valid photo ID, such as a North Carolina driver's license, state ID, or U.S. passport, in accordance with state law.
