Voters in Asheville must register by October 13, 2027, either online through the North Carolina State Board of Elections portal, by mail, or in person at the Buncombe County Board of Elections office. On Election Day, polls will be open from 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM EST; voters may also participate in early voting from October 20 to November 5, 2027, at designated early voting sites across Buncombe County. A valid photo ID is required for in-person voting, in accordance with North Carolina state law.
