How to Vote

To vote in the Santa Fe City Council Elections, New Mexico residents must register by February 7, 2028, either online via the NM Secretary of State’s voter portal, by mail, or in person at the Santa Fe County Clerk’s office. On Election Day, March 7, 2028, voters can cast ballots at their assigned polling place between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM; valid photo ID is required for first-time voters or those updating registration, and early voting is available from February 17 to March 5, 2028, at designated vote centers.
