How to Vote

New Mexico residents can register to vote online through the Secretary of State's portal, by mail, or in person at county clerk offices or Motor Vehicle Division locations. Voters must present a valid ID when voting in person, such as a driver's license, state ID, tribal ID, or other approved forms; alternatively, they may sign an affidavit of identity if no ID is available. Early voting begins 19 days before Election Day and ends the Saturday prior, with absentee ballots available upon request.
