How to Vote

To vote in the Santa Fe mayoral election, residents must be registered to vote in New Mexico by January 6, 2026. Voters can register online through the New Mexico Secretary of State’s website, by mail, or in person at their county clerk’s office. On Election Day, March 3, 2026, voters must cast their ballots at their assigned polling place; early voting is available from February 17 to March 2, 2026, at designated vote centers. All voters must present a valid form of identification, such as a driver’s license, state ID, tribal ID, or other government-issued photo ID, or provide a utility bill, bank statement, or paycheck showing their name and current address if no photo ID is available.
