How to Vote

To vote in the Rio Rancho mayoral election, residents must be registered to vote in New Mexico by the deadline of January 8, 2026. Voters can cast their ballot in person on Election Day at their assigned polling place, during the early voting period from February 17 to March 2, 2026, or by requesting an absentee ballot through the New Mexico Secretary of State's website. Valid photo ID is required for first-time voters who registered by mail and did not provide ID verification.
