To vote in New Mexico, residents must register by October 8, 2026, either online at the Secretary of State’s website, by mail, or in person at their county clerk’s office. On Election Day, voters can cast ballots at their assigned polling place from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM MT, or participate in early voting from October 11 to November 2 at designated locations. Valid photo ID is required for first-time voters who registered by mail; otherwise, ID is not required for most voters.
