To vote in the Paterson City Council Election, New Jersey residents must be registered by April 20, 2028, either online through the NJ Division of Elections, by mail, or in person at their municipal clerk's office. On Election Day, polling places will be open from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM; voters can also cast ballots during the early voting period from April 25 to May 5, 2028, at designated regional sites, and no photo ID is required to vote in New Jersey unless it is the voter's first time voting in the county.
