To vote in the Paterson mayoral election, residents must be registered to vote in New Jersey by April 15, 2028. Voters can cast ballots in person on Election Day at their assigned polling place, during early voting from April 27 to May 5, 2028, or by requesting a vote-by-mail ballot, which must be applied for by April 30, 2028, and received by 8 p.m. on Election Day.
