How to Vote

To vote in the Jersey City mayoral election, residents must be registered to vote by April 9, 2028. Voters can cast ballots in person on Election Day at their assigned polling place, during early voting from April 20 to May 6, 2028, or by requesting a mail-in ballot through the Hudson County Clerk's Office. Valid photo ID is required for first-time voters who registered by mail; otherwise, no ID is needed for most voters.
