How to Vote

To vote in New Jersey, residents must be U.S. citizens, at least 18 years old by Election Day, and registered to vote. Registration can be completed online, by mail, or in person at county election offices. Early voting is available statewide for nine days prior to Election Day, and voters may also request a vote-by-mail ballot without providing an excuse. Valid photo ID is not required to vote in New Jersey unless registering for the first time by mail.

Kim Guadagno is the former Lieutenant Governor of New Jersey (2010–2018) and former Lieutenant Governor under Chris Christie. She previously served as a Monmouth County sheriff and prosecutor. Guadagno is running to restore fiscal responsibility and strengthen border security, positioning herself as a conservative alternative to the incumbent.
