How to Vote

To vote in New Jersey, residents must be registered by October 12, 2027. Voters can cast ballots in person on Election Day, during the early voting period from October 24 to October 30, 2027, or by requesting a vote-by-mail ballot. Valid identification is required for first-time voters who registered by mail and did not provide ID during registration; acceptable forms include a driver’s license, state ID, passport, military ID, or a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, or other government document showing name and address.
