To vote in New Jersey's 2026 primary, residents must be registered to vote by May 17, 2026. Voters can cast ballots in person on Election Day, June 2, 2026, or during the early voting period from May 23 to June 1, 2026. Registered voters may also request a mail-in ballot by May 26, 2026, and return it by close of polls on Election Day. Voters must present an approved form of ID if voting in person for the first time in their jurisdiction, such as a driver's license, passport, or utility bill with name and address.
