How to Vote

To vote in Omaha, Nebraska, residents must be U.S. citizens, at least 18 years old by election day, and registered to vote. Registration can be completed online via the Nebraska Secretary of State’s voter portal, by mail, or in person at county election offices. Early voting begins March 25, 2028, and lasts through April 10, 2028, with in-person voting available at designated locations. On election day, polls are open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM CT, and voters must present a valid photo ID such as a driver’s license, state ID, passport, or military ID.
