How to Vote

To vote in Nebraska, residents must register by October 20, 2028, either online through the Nebraska Secretary of State’s voter portal, by mail, or in person at a county election office. On Election Day, November 7, 2028, voters can cast their ballots at designated polling places from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Central Time; early voting is available from October 7 to November 4, 2028, at county election offices or satellite locations. Voters must present a valid photo ID, such as a Nebraska driver’s license, state ID, U.S. passport, or military ID, when voting in person.
