To vote in Nebraska, residents must register by April 22, 2026, either online through the Nebraska Secretary of State’s voter portal, by mail, or in person at their county election office. On election day or during early voting (April 27–May 11, 2026), voters must present a valid photo ID such as a Nebraska driver’s license, state ID, passport, or military ID, and cast their ballot at their designated polling place or via early voting locations established by the Douglas County Election Commissioner.
