How to Vote

To vote in Nebraska, residents must register by March 15, 2026, either online via the Nebraska Secretary of State's website, by mail, or in person at their county election office. On Election Day, April 7, 2026, voters can cast ballots at their designated polling place from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM CT; early voting is available from March 24 to April 6, 2026, at county election offices or satellite locations. Voters must present a valid photo ID, such as a Nebraska driver's license, state ID, passport, or military ID, or complete a reasonable impediment declaration if unable to obtain ID.
