How to Vote

Voters in Lancaster County, Nebraska must be registered by April 24, 2026, to participate in the May 12 election. Early voting begins April 25 and runs through May 11 at the Lancaster County Election Office and designated satellite locations; voters may also request absentee ballots by mail. On Election Day, polls are open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM CDT, and voters must present a valid photo ID such as a Nebraska driver’s license, state ID, passport, or military ID.
