To vote in the Omaha mayoral election, Nebraska residents must be registered by April 25, 2026, either online through the Nebraska Secretary of State’s voter portal, by mail, or in person at their county election office. On Election Day, voters can cast ballots at their assigned polling place from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM CDT; early voting is available from April 27 to May 11 at designated sites, and absentee ballots must be requested by May 4 and received by close of polls on Election Day. A valid photo ID is required for in-person voting, including driver’s licenses, state IDs, passports, or military IDs.
