The 2026 U.S. House District 1 General Election in Nebraska will determine the representative for Nebraska's 1st Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. The district covers the eastern portion of the state, including Omaha and surrounding areas. Voters will choose between major-party candidates to serve a two-year term in Congress starting in January 2027.

How to Vote

To vote in Nebraska’s 2026 general election, eligible citizens must register by October 19, 2026, either online, by mail, or in person at their county election office. On Election Day, November 3, 2026, voters can cast ballots at their assigned polling place from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM CT, or vote early in person from October 5 to November 2; valid photo ID is required for in-person voting.
