How to Vote

To vote in Nebraska, residents must register by April 22, 2026, either online through the Nebraska Secretary of State's voter portal, by mail, or in person at a county election office. On election day, May 12, 2026, voters can cast ballots at their assigned polling place from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM CT; early voting is available from April 24 to May 12 at designated county election offices or satellite locations, and voters must present a valid photo ID such as a Nebraska driver's license, state ID, or U.S. passport.
