How to Vote

Voters in Minneapolis can register online through the Minnesota Secretary of State's website, by mail, or in person at their local election office. Registration must be completed by October 13, 2026, to vote in the November election. On Election Day, polls are open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM; voters must bring a valid ID if registering at the polls or if it's their first time voting in Minnesota and they registered by mail without providing ID earlier. Early voting begins September 18, 2026, and runs through November 1, 2026, at designated locations including Hennepin County service centers and city halls.
