How to Vote

Minnesota residents can register to vote online, by mail, or in person through the Minnesota Secretary of State's office. Voters may cast ballots in person on Election Day, during the early voting period from September 18 to November 1, 2026, or by requesting an absentee ballot without needing an excuse. Acceptable ID is not required for registered voters, but first-time voters who registered by mail may need to show identification.
