How to Vote
To vote in the Burnsville City Council Election, residents must first register to vote by October 13, 2026, either online through the Minnesota Secretary of State’s website, by mail, or in person at their local election office. On Election Day, voters can cast their ballots at their assigned polling place between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM, or vote early in person from September 18 to November 2, 2026, at designated early voting centers. Minnesotans do not need to show ID to vote unless they are registering for the first time or have not voted in the last four years; acceptable IDs include a Minnesota driver’s license, state ID, or tribal ID.

Biography
Danielle Kuhl is a longtime Burnsville resident and small business owner who has served on the city’s Planning Commission for four years. She is running to promote responsible economic development, improve public safety, and ensure city services meet the needs of families and seniors across all wards.
Marcus Johnson is a public school teacher and youth advocate with over a decade of experience working in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191. He is running to increase investment in parks and recreation, support equitable housing policies, and strengthen communication between the city council and neighborhood associations.
It's early, but the organization's new leader senses renewed energy around a young club that's off to a 7-6 start — including four straight wins.
