How to Vote

Minnesota residents can register to vote online, by mail, or in person at their local election office. Voters may cast ballots early in person starting September 18, 2026, or request an absentee ballot to vote by mail. On Election Day, polls are open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and voters must present a valid ID if registering at the polls or if challenged; otherwise, ID is not required for most registered voters.
